What really makes MMG Capital different than other Trust Deed Investment sponsors?
FAQs - Frequently Asked Questions - Investors

There are plenty of major differences between MMG Capital and other Trust Deed Investment providers. We’ll highlight just a few of the more important ones:

  1. Our experience and expertise is rarely rivaled
There’s absolutely no substitute for experience and because we have so much of it there’s rarely a case where our expertise is ever rivaled. Our management team has five decades worth of lending and finance experience and it’s the driving force behind all of our investing success.

  1. We don’t just broker loans to investors
Theoretically, there’s nothing wrong with purchasing brokered loans. However, we believe that our expertise is one of the greatest assets that we have to offer our investors. So, we don’t like to sell loans to others and leave them on their own to worry about seeing their investment through to the end of the term. We like to stay involved, actively manage our loan portfolio and drastically increase the odds of success in all of our Trust Deed Investments. At the same time, we only originate loans that we would be happy to invest in ourselves, and we often do. MMG Capital Investors are typically investing right alongside us, so they know that we believe in our product.

  1. We can offer liquidity in an otherwise illiquid environment
One of the greatest drawbacks to Trust Deed Investing is the fact that invested capital is typically not liquid. Once money is lent to a borrower, you can’t get it back until the term of the loan is over or the borrower pays it back, whichever is sooner. With MMG Capital you have the opportunity to maintain a degree of liquidity while taking advantage of all of the other advantages that Trust Deed Investing has to offer. Read the details of our Liquidity Program for more information.

  1. We don’t originate loans unless they’re secured by valuable real estate
More often than not, Trust Deed Investments are secured by less desirable real estate: small single family homes, property in depressed neighborhoods, distressed property, etc. MMG Capital, on the other hand, typically lends to high net worth borrowers that own or are purchasing highly desirable real estate.
